Founded by Creative Director Tom Chalk, Chalk Outlines brings together a small collective of visual storytellers united by a shared commitment to meaningful filmmaking. We approach every project as a collaboration between filmmakers, subjects, communities, and audiences. The stories we tell are not extracted. They are built through trust, patience, and genuine human connection.

Alongside Tom, Director of Photography Hendrik Pot shapes the visual language of our films with an emphasis on intimacy, atmosphere, and observation. Documentary photographer Nikki Culley brings a still image perspective rooted in authenticity and character. Together, we work across film and photography to create visual stories that feel lived, honest, and deeply human.
